Hi Everybody!
As one of my birthday activities I facilitated a Fitness Workshop for the Go Red Girlfriend Women’s Conference that was sponsored by the American Heart Association.
I had alot of fun encouraging women to use simple dance and movement as forms of exercise in order to improve their health and decrease their risk for cardiovascular disease. Aside from fighting heavy rains to get to the facility and all the fun we had dancing, I also showed them simple exercises to do with exercise bands.
With that said, please remember that exercise is not only to look good but its to improve your overall health and wellbeing for as long as possible. I had a lady in my class tell me the other day that weightlifting has slowed down the decrease in her bone density; thus, decreasing her risk for future fractures or joint replacement surgery.
Let me know what exercising has done or is doing for your life.
